Dark Sky Project offer privately hosted group tours of Mount John Observatory, Cowan’s Private Observatory and in our purpose-built technological and interactive venue.

Our tour packages can be tailored perfectly to suit your group needs, such as a bespoke star-gazing astrophotography experience for photography clubs, with the option to include a dining experience at our iconic lakeside restaurant the Dark Sky Diner for corporate and community groups.

We also host primary and secondary school students, offering a hands-on educational experience.
